Location
Farragut State Park is located in Northern Idaho near the town of Athol. The park located in the Coeur d'Alene Mountains at the southern tip of the Lake Pend Oreille, the largest lake in Idaho. During World War II, the Lake was used as an inland Naval training base and the park is named for Admiral David Farragut, who was the first Admiral in the United States Navy.
The Eagle boat launch provides boating access to the lake.
