Location

Farragut State Park is located in Northern Idaho near the town of Athol. The park located in the Coeur d'Alene Mountains at the southern tip of the Lake Pend Oreille, the largest lake in Idaho. During World War II, the Lake was used as an inland Naval training base and the park is named for Admiral David Farragut, who was the first Admiral in the United States Navy.

The Eagle boat launch provides boating access to the lake.

East Canyon State Park is located in the mountains northeast of Salt Lake City, UT. The main feature of the park is the 27-acre East Canyon Reservoir that provides plenty of water-based recreation. The reservoir is fed by the East Canyon Creek and formed by the East Canyon Dam.

There is a boat launch, boat rentals and a fish cleaning station. Concession facilities also sell food and rent water toys.

Multi-use hiking trails run through the park. There are 33 RV campsites with partial hookups and 2 covered group-use pavilions.

Red Rock Canyon State Park is located in Kern County, California and is known for its stunning rock formations and scenic landscape. The area is dotted with Joshua trees and yucca plants. Due to its scenic desert beauty in close proximity to Los Angeles, Red Rock Canyon has been a filming location for a range of movies - especially Westerns.

Ricketts Glen State Park is located in Luzerne, Columbia & Sullivan Counties Pennsylvania. The 245-acre Lake Jean is a popular aspect of the park and offers fishing for panfish and trout. There are 22 named waterfalls within the park, including the 94-foot Ganoga Falls. Ricketts Glen is named as one of the Twenty Must-See Pennsylvania State Parks by the PA DNR.

Location

Eldorado Canyon State Park is a day use park located in Boulder County, Colorado close to the city of Boulder and within proximity to Denver. The park's landscape is dominated by high sandstone cliffs and the deep canyon carved by the South Boulder Creek.

Rock climbing is a popular activity within the park. There are over 500 technical rock climbing routes established within Eldorado and climbers from around the world have come to ascend the towering rock faces.
