Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary is located in Southwestern Florida, situated north of Naples and east of Bonita Springs. The sanctuary is comprised of wetlands in the Western Everglades and includes the largest remaining virgin bald cypress forest in the world.

Duke Farms is a Hillsborough, New Jersey estate that was founded by James Buchanan Duke, the founder of Duke Power and the American Tobacco Company. The estate was most recently the home of Duke's daughter, Doris, who inherited the estate when she was 12 years old and it was her main residence until her death in 1992. The estate is now owned by the Duke Farms Foundation.

Nature Conservancy South Cape May Meadows Refuge is located in West Cape May, New Jersey and protects important migratory bird habitat. The refuge is alternatively known as the Nature Conservancy Cape May Migratory Bird Refuge.

The refuge features a one-mile looping nature trail through wetlands and crossing a channel. The beach trail adds roughly a third of a mile to the walk.

Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve is located within Cape Coral, Florida. The preserve protects mangrove forest within the city of Cape Coral which represents habitat for the threatened burrowing owl.
