Delaware Outdoor Destinations
Delaware is located on the Atlantic Coast of the United States in the Mid-Atlantic Region. It is the second-smallest state by area and is relatively flat. The highest elevation within the state is the Ebright Azimuth, which is just short of 450 feet above sea level and is located within feet of the Pennsylvania state line.
Families can enjoy a range of outdoor recreation in Delaware. The state has 2 National Wildlife Refuges, 15 state parks and a number of other protected areas to explore. Given its location on the coast and related wetlands, there is a wealth of water recreation.
