Massachussetts has a very diverse landscape that is made up of forests, lakes, ponds, rivers and seashore. The state has one of the largest state parks systems in the country with 450,000 acres of land. All of this outdoor wonder is located within proximity to the major cities of Boston and New York City.
Located within the state are many well known outdoor destinations. The Cape Cod National Seashore provides access to 40 miles of stunning seashore. Also, a portion of the famous Appalachian Trail passes through Massachusetts. No matter what type of adventure you family seeks, Massachusetts has just the destination for you.
