Table Rock State Park is located in Northwest South Carolina. The park is located on the edge of the Blue Mountain range and includes Pinnacle Mountain, the tallest mountain that is located totally within the state. Two lakes provide families with recreational activities like swimming and fishing.
The park contains a lodge that was restored by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) and that includes a 72-seat dining room. There are also 94 campsites and 14 cabins available for overnight stays. Pets are not permitted in the cabins, but are permitted in most other outdoor areas as long as they are properly leashed. The lodge or campsites can serve as a great base camp for hiking on the many trails within the park.
